A journey through the powerful southern regions of Armenia. Ancient monasteries, dramatic canyons, wine tastings in Areni, mineral springs in Jermuk and the legendary Wings of Tatev cable car. Each day brings a different side of Armenia, from the biblical views of Mount Ararat to the atmospheric streets of Goris. The tour itinerary may be modified and adapted to meet the specific request of the tourist.

Stops

1. Khor Virap and Noravank

Khor Virap Monastery (10:00-11:00). Angels Canyon (11:50-13:00). Lunch at Areni winery or cheese farm (14:10-15:00). Noravank Monastery (15:20-16:10). Check in at Hotel Arevi (16:30). Evening visit to two churches and Zorats Tsaten temple, sunset, hospitality and bonfire (19:30-21:00).

2. Jermuk

Breakfast at hotel (09:00). Departure to Jermuk (10:00-11:00). Jermuk geysers (11:00-13:30). Mineral water tasting hall (13:30-14:00). Lunch at Grand Cafe (14:00-15:00). Check in (15:00). Jermuk cable car (16:40-17:20). Jermuk deer statue (17:20-17:30). Jrahars waterfall (17:30-18:30). Boat ride in Jermuk or alternative (40 minutes).

3. Goris and Khndzoresk

Breakfast at hotel (08:30). Goris Artsvakerp viewpoint (11:00). Khndzoresk (13:30). Check in at Mirhav guesthouse. Lunch at Mirhav or Khorea canyon (14:00). Baklava or dolma masterclass at Mirhav. City tour of Goris: Old Goris quarter, St. Hripsime Church, St. Grigor Lusavorich Church, Goris square, carpet weaving masterclass at Goris Handmade, Geological museum. Evening in Goris.

4. Tatev

Breakfast at hotel (09:00). Wings of Tatev cable car, one way (10:20-10:40). Tatev Monastery (10:50-12:30). Devils Bridge (12:50-14:20). Halidzor viewpoint (14:20-14:40). Lunch near viewpoint (14:40-15:50). Shaki waterfall (15:50-16:50). Food court in Yeghegnadzor (17:20-18:00). Return to Yerevan, check in.

5. Yerevan

Breakfast at hotel (10:00). City tour of Yerevan (12:00-18:00): Republic Square, Northern Avenue, Swan Lake, National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Cascade. Vernissage market for souvenirs. Evening at Kami Club or alternative. Transfer to airport.
